CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS FOR AWESOME
RESOLUTION ON THE DISCRETIONARY SPENDING OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH, FISCAL
YEAR 2017
RECOGNIZING that the Chief Executive of these United States, President
Margaret McCarthy, has requested a discretionary lump sum from this committee
for the expressed purposes of governance,
NOTING with concern the continued inability of the legislature at large to
commit funds to the efficient running of President McCarthy's Executive,
REAFFIRMING its commitment to the President and her policy goals,
the COMMITTEE:
PLEDGES its ongoing support for the campaign and the office of
President McCarthy,
RESOLVES to hold in reserve a total sum of SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS AND
ZERO CENTS for allocation by the executive, to be partitioned in these parts:
- no less than THREE HUNDRED AND TWELVE DOLLARS to be allocated towards
providing healthcare for all Americans,
- no less than ONE HUNDRED AND NINTEY-THREE DOLLARS AND FORTY CENTS to be
allocated towards the implementation of a comprehensive emissions-curbing
plan to uphold the Paris accords,
- no less than ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS to
be allocated towards ending homelessness,
- no less than NINTEY-SIX DOLLARS AND THIRTY TWO CENTS to be allocated towards
the reform of the Judiciary as outlined in President McCarthy's policy
briefing,
- no more than THREE CENTS to be spent, in toto, on a combination of:
- military and defense,
- immigration enforcement,
- the regulation and scheduling of recreational drugs, and
- the prosecution of civil disobedience
AFFIRMS its strong desire to be the Legislative Branch of these
United States,
ENCOURAGES the office of the executive to contact Haldean Brown
(Assistant to the Deputy Treasurer, Western Division) to arrange for
disbursement of funds in the manner most convenient to the Executive
